Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Announced for Switch and Coming Remastered to PS4 and PC

Bandai Namco announced their plans to publish the Level-5 developed JRPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch onto Nintendo Switch as well as Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered for PlayStation 4 and PC, both scheduled for a September 9 release date.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch tells the story of Oliver who embarks on an adventure full of imagination and wonder and he tries to undo a tragic event. After meeting a familiar named Drippy, the two set off using the power of the Wizard’s Companion to a new world where they meet new characters and face off again tough enemies.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was created in partnership with Studio Ghibli who provided character illustrations and animations to the project. Composer Joe Hisaishi also worked on the project to create the game’s soundtrack.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch features an open world with side quests and plenty of NPCs to meet and interact with. The Nintendo Switch version will allow players to take the experience on the go with them. Some might not remember that the game received a Nintendo DS version which was pretty much the entire game with alternate graphics.

The Remastered version of the game will include improved graphics and performance on PlayStation 4 and PC, but hopefully, the game’s AI has been improved a little for some easier boss encounters.
