Bandai Namco revealed details about the long-awaited DLC for the Level-5 developed RPG adventure Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
Titled The Lair of the Lost Lord, this story DLC will include a new labyrinth dungeon located in the Rubby Ruins and a new Material Method system which introduces an additional fighting style to the game’s combat. The story DLC will also bring more than 80 new weapons and side quests to the game which will provide additional backstory information on more of the characters.
The new labyrinth dungeon is ruled by the Prince of Wraiths who has plans to destroy Evermore, which fans will remember as Evan’s newly established kingdom. However, Even and the party will put a stop to his plans before that happens.
The new Material Method system still has some details that the publisher is holding back, but evidently, it enhances that player’s battle style and is obtained from memories of people that Evan has met.
Pricing and firm release date have not been announced yet, but it will be available to those who have purchased the season pass.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom release in March 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
