Ni No Kuni II Reveals New Story DLC ‘The Tale of a Timeless Tome’

Bandai Namco revealed new DLC coming to the Level-5 developed RPG Ni No Kuni II titled The Tale of a Timeless Tome preparing to launch on March 19.

The Tale of a Timeless Tome continues additional story content that follows Evan and his friends as players will more of their memories through a series of events. Additionally, the update adds new martial methods that were introduced in the previous DLC as well as new locations and characters.

“We at Level-5 have been working hard the past several months on finalizing new content for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Today we are excited to share that we will be releasing a new chapter for Ni no Kuni II, ‘The Tale of a Timeless Tome.’ Players will gain a deeper understanding of their favorite characters, journey through new areas, and much more. We appreciate our fans’ patience and will have more to share soon.”

During the story, Evan hears about a rumor surrounding a rabbit dressed in a tuxedo who is appearing in people’s dreams. After an investigation in Goldpaw, Evan falls asleep and meets the strange character. Aside from that, players will be able to gain new abilities through the Martial Method system which includes the “Wizards’ Companion”, a name from Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
