Next Studios Reveals Release Dates for Iris.Fall and Bladed Fury on PS4 and Switch

Next Studio is bringing two of their titles to PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch both physically and digitally.

Iris.Fall will launch on January 8, 2021, and blends 3D and 2D gameplay using dark set-pieces where players will control Iris through the world of shadow and light to get through a mysterious theatre. These puzzles aim to challenge players to figure out ways on how to progress but offer a nice learning curve for players to get used to the mechanics.

Bladed Fury will launch on January 22, 2021, and allows players to play through classic fantasy 2D action titles. The fast past gameplay is laced with Chinese history and mythology through its dark narrative. Picking this game up will come with a digital voucher for an original soundtrack.

Both games were previously launched on PC-via Steam and received favorable reviews from players. In case you missed it, check out our PC review of Iris.Fall, where we praised it for its dark atmosphere and light puzzle themes. Sadly, we didn’t review Bladed Fury, but we’ll be sure to change that.
