PQube announced that the Vewo Interactive-developed monster-collecting RPG Nexomon + Nexomon: Extinction: Complete Collection will launch physically on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later this year. Both games will be included in the collection.
The original Nexomon features an original narrative with the choice of 7 Nexomon starter creatures. There are over 300 creatures to collect as players fight toward taking down the NexoLord. Gameplay revolves around exploration and battles as players build their party of Nexomon. Each Nexomon has a unique skill and ability for battles that take place in a 2D battle system. There a nine elemental types with strengths and weaknesses that players will need to learn.
Nexomon: Extinction features over 300 Nexomon to catch as players explore a large 2D world. The battle system is turn-based and features eleven elemental types. Also, the environments range from deserts, and forests, to snowfields with Nexomon that fit the various climates. Lastly, the game’s story focuses on a lighthearted tale of a hero just trying to save the world and a companion who doesn’t take himself too seriously.
