New Ys VIII Online Trailer Reveals 2022 Release Window For iOS & Android

A user on the video-sharing site bilibili has shared the latest trailer for the upcoming mobile action RPG, Ys VIII Online. This title was previously announced in 2019, though news on it has been scarce aside from a few hands-on events. It was also confirmed to be released worldwide, but that facet has not been elaborated upon since its initial unveiling.

You can see in-game footage of this title via its 2020 live broadcast.

A new character called Rucol was previously introduced as well. She’s a 10-year-old bandit who’s described as a spoiled crybaby. Her render is viewable below:

You can view the latest Ys VIII Online trailer below via Falcom community member Hansuke. It confirms a 2022 release for iOS and Android.
