New Ys Game Concept Image Arriving This Week; New Elements & Refreshing Starting Point For The Franchise

Regarding the previously confirmed news arriving later this month correlating to the next Ys game, it has been revealed that a new concept image for the game will be shared. Further, the producers see this as a “new, refreshing starting point to the series, which incorporates new elements.”

Thanks to reliable and prominent Falcom community member Hansuke for sharing this notable information. The weekly Famitsu discussing this new title will arrive on Thursday, so it won’t be long until we finally learn some news about this elusive upcoming Ys entry.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana kickstarted the series’ popularity in the West during its initial Vita and PS4 release. It contains a memorable narrative, addictive combat, a stellar soundtrack, multiple difficulty levels, a plethora of side content, and much more.
