New XSEED Action RPG ‘Silent Hope’ is Connected to the Rune Factory Universe

Silent Hope, an action RPG that was previously announced at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, had an interesting trailer showing some rather familiar elements, which led people to believe that the game took place in the same universe as Story of Seasons or maybe Rune Factory. Well, just today, the official Rune Factory account tweeted out confirming that yes, the two games do share the same universe:

This honestly makes me more intrigued than ever before, because I didn’t expect there would actually be a shared connection. I can’t wait to see what other Rune Factory elements will be featured in this game.

Silent Hope has players exploring an Abyss that features ever-changing dungeons where players will control seven heroes, each with their own abilities and fighting styles. Return home with your treasures and create new and better equipment to dive deeper on your next run, and level up your heroes to earn new abilities and unlock new classes to tackle the challenging bosses lurking in the depths.

Preorders will soon be available for the physical Day 1 edition on Nintendo Switch, which includes an artbook and soundtrack at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $49.99, while the standalone base game will be available digitally for $39.99 on eShop and Steam. In case you missed it, check out our previous coverage of the game’s reveal. Silent Hope will release on October 3, 2023 on Nintendo Switch and PC.
