New Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong Trailer Spotlights Seeress Vampire, Leysha
Nacon has shared a new character trailer for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, highlighting the seeress Leysha. She is known throughout the Boston Court for being able to perceive the future, but utilizing that knowledge is quite arduous. Unfortunately, due to her duties of attending to the prince and caring her for daughter, Halsey, Leysha doesn’t have much downtime or serenity to bask in.
The two primary characterization concepts with Leysha are intimacy and mimicry. The latter has her embrace stealth while using skills like Obfuscate, hiding her appearance from the average eyes. Adding on to her investigative and non-combat-centric playstyle, Leysha can use Auspex to follow trails of individuals for clues, like their scents.
Regarding intimacy, Leysha profoundly cares for her daughter Halsey, though the lack of proper work-life balance and the latter’s continual intrusion into Leysha’s employment causes natural concerns to arise.
