New Tales of Arise Trailer Showcases its Wondrous World and Various Activities

Bandai Namco has uploaded a new trailer for their upcoming action JRPG, Tales of Arise. This new showing depicts the title’s appealing world, its main playable cast, and a few of the side activities that players can find themselves investing time into, such as cooking and fishing.

Personally, this trailer only amplifies my excitement for this soon-to-be-released title. As a veteran fan of the Tales of franchise, it feels indescribably fulfilling to see this series finally looking like a next-generation experience. Obviously, the contents of the game itself will have to match its charming presentation, but I have faith the final product will appease fans and newcomers.

Tales of Arise advances the graphics with this new “Atmospheric Shader,” which is meant to present the world as if it were a hand-drawn painting. Further, the combat has evolved, allowing for a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions. Finally, the graphics, combat system, characters, and story combine to present a vivid and realized world that the developer hopes will immerse players.

Tales of Arise is launching worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on September 10, 2021.
