New Tales of Arise Trailer Introduces the Skilled Endearing Mage Rinwell
Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the upcoming Tales of Arise, focusing on the mage party member Rinwell.
The trailer showcases her speedy casting in the midst of combat and a brief introduction to her backstory. Rinwell works with the Silver Swords, the Cyslodian Resistance. She is the only member of the group who managed to make contact following a directive from her organization. Additionally, Rinwell is a Dahnan Mage, a rare existence from their presences usually only making themselves known via rumors.
Rinwell is adept at various elements of magic, with the trailer highlighting fierce tornados and raging floods of water. Her swiftness at employing different spells from afar makes her a talented party member to rely on.
Tales of Arise advances the graphics with this new “Atmospheric Shader,” which is meant to present the world as if it were a hand-drawn painting. Further, the combat has evolved, allowing for a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions. The graphics, combat system, characters, and story all work together to present a vivid and realized world that the developer hopes will immerse players.
Tales of Arise is launching worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on September 10, 2021.
