New Tales of Arise Character Trailer Introduces The Stalwart Shield-Wielding Beauty Kisara

Bandai Namco has uploaded a brand new trailer for their upcoming action JRPG, Tales of Arise. This trailer hones on one of the female party members of the main cast, Kisara. She is the captain of the Elde Menancia Guard and a Dahnan woman. In addition to her well-regarded reputation amongst Renan soldiers, she is incredibly skilled at actively utilizing shields and other defensive maneuvers during combat.

Each member of this title’s cast seems more distinctive and conceptually engaging than prior entries, at least at first glance, so here’s hoping their characterizations are worthwhile to experience once the full game releases in September of this year.

Tales of Arise advances the graphics with this new “Atmospheric Shader,” which is meant to present the world as if it were a hand-drawn painting. Further, the combat has evolved, allowing for a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions. Finally, the graphics, combat system, characters, and story combine to present a vivid and realized world that the developer hopes will immerse players.
