Atlus has shared a new story trailer for their upcoming turn-based JRPG, Soul Hackers 2. Conflicts primarily revolving around Ringo’s actions are highlighted, with critical narrative points being teased.
Further, a variety of DLC content has been confirmed for the title, including an additional story scenario titled “Lost Numbers” featuring an unspecified, new character. Additionally, the Mara and Masakado demons will be DLC alongside costumes and music correlating to the previous Devil Summoners. Also, like Shin Megami Tensei V, there will be enhanced experience gaining and in-game currency obtained via DLC. Nemissa, the primary heroine of the first Soul Hackers, is also potentially teased as a DLC demon based on a familiar silhouette in the second panel.
This aforementioned information was stated during the Soul Hackers 2 live stream featuring Victor earlier today.

For those unaware, Soul Hackers is a Shin Megami Tensei offshoot that last released for the 3DS, under Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. Initially, Soul Hackers was considered an entry in the Devil Summoner subseries of Shin Megami Tensei games. However, with Soul Hackers 2, it is now its own series while still retaining some ties to the subfranchise.
Atlus West has announced that the game will have the option to choose between English and Japanese audio, with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitle options also being selectable, providing greater audience accessibility.
Soul Hackers 2 will release on August 26, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
