New Princess Peach Game Announced; 2024 Release

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo made two new announcements for 2024. One of the announcements is that a brand-new Princess Peach game is now in development, featuring a new solo adventure with the titular Princess Peach. The trailer did not show a name nor any concrete details about gameplay, but it seems that Princess Peach will be getting some new abilities.

The last time we saw Princess Peach get her own game was with Super Princess Peach, a Nintendo DS game. In the DS original, players find that Bowser has stolen the Vibe Scepter and kidnaps Mario, Luigi, and the Toads. Princess Peach then heads to Vibe Island with the help of a talking umbrella, Perry, and she must rescue Mario and his friends using the power of her emotions.
