New Pokemon Snap Gets In-Depth Overview Video Highlighting Lental Region

Nintendo launched a new trailer for The Pokemon Company-developed photo adventure, New Pokemon Snap, coming to Nintendo Switch on April 30, 2021.

The trailer goes into gameplay details as players explore the Lental region. Players will ride inside the Neo One and can control the camera using the controller or system in handheld mode. The photos will then be evaluated at the end of the route.

Items are also introduced such as Fluffruit, which can be used to lure out Pokemon for a good shoot. There’s also Illumina Orbs that can cause Pokemon to glow with life energy, this can also be used in the environment. To find hidden Pokemon players are also able to scan the environments, which also gets some Pokemon to react. Scanning can also reveal new paths.

New Pokemon Snap is being developed by Banai Namco and is based on the 1999 Nintendo 64 release, Pokemon Snap. During gameplay, players will enter a vehicle that is on rails and slowly make their way through a Pokemon environment.

New Pokemon Snap takes place on an entirely new island and is also a new adventure. Players can interact with the Pokemon by providing them food, which might allow them to get a better shot. In the previous entry, your pictures are rated and you could take the picture to a Blockbuster to have them printed. In this entry, it seems like your favorite pictures can be hung on a digital wall.
