New Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Trailer Showcases Poffins, Amity Square, HMs, and More

The official Pokémon Youtube channel has shared a new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, showcasing various mechanics and other features players can expect from the full release. The Pokétech has returned and been unveiled. This handy device tracks your steps, the current time, and more. Hidden Moves, more colloquially referred to as HMs, have also returned and can be used via the Pokétech’s convenient functionality. Poffins can be baked and fed to your Pokémon, which increases several stats such as Cuteness, meant for the Contests that judge the creatures on their non-battle capabilities.

This trailer’s other notable features include Amity Square, where trainers can stroll alongside their Pokémon and cook many Poffins with them. Additionally, the gentle Cheryl, the enigmatic Riley, and the Grass Gym Leader Gardenia are briefly showcased in their chibi and in-battle art styles.

If you missed it, a densely packed trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus launched today as well, revealing a vast number of new characters and details on gameplay mechanics.
