New ‘Phantom Breaker: Omnia’ Trailer Has Itsuki Kono Wipe The Floor With Her Opponents

Rocket Panda Games has shared a new character trailer for the fighter Phantom Breaker: Omnia. This time we get to see the upbeat maid café waitress Itsuki Kono fighting. She calls herself an arbiter of justice and comes from an ultra elite background as her family used to be very rich before an economic crisis impacted them severely.

Itsuki is a rushdown style of playable character and a good fighter for mid-range and a good balance between attack, speed, and defense. In the video, it’s possible to see some of her specials and supers, which include the Horizontal Grand Slam in which she summons a shark-faced torpedo upon her opponents. She’s voiced by Akiko Hasegawa in Japanese and Erica Lindbeck in English.

Check out Itsuki’s gameplay:

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is the most up-to-date edition of the Mages-developed 2D fighting game, Phantom Breaker. The original version was supposed to have a western release on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012/2013 but it was stealthily canceled as the release eventually became unfeasible for circumstances undisclosed. Despite that, its beat’em up spin-off Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds got English-translated editions in multiple systems.

The worldwide release of Phantom Breaker: Omnia will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC -via Steam– on March 15, 2022. This definitive edition will feature all previous characters plus two newcomers for a total of 20 options with English and Japanese audio, an extra fighting style option called Omnia, all the stories from both previous releases of the game, a remixed soundtrack, and various balancing changes.
