New Nintendo Indie World Showcase Announced for Tomorrow; Roughly 20 Minutes

The official Nintendo of America Twitter account has announced that they will be hosting a new Nintendo Indie World Showcase tomorrow, August 11, 2021, at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM EST. Roughly 20 minutes of news on upcoming indie titles releasing for the Switch is expected, though specifics of what games will be shown are obviously unknown at the moment.

In the past, Nintendo is known to pack the full runtime of the event with game reveals, and gameplay deep dives. So expect more than five games highlighted and some surprises along the way. Each minute of this event will focus on a unique game from an indie developer at breakneck speed.

Perhaps we’ll finally receive news on Hollow Knight: Silksong? No, probably not, but a man can dream. Regardless, with these showcases usually being packed to the brim with a variety of games, there will assuredly at least be 1 that sticks with specified viewers.
