Square Enix and Aniplex have shared a new character trailer for the upcoming NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime, introducing the pacifistic robot leader, Pascal. It’s quite brief and merely shows a few close-up shots.

If you missed it, the previously announced NieR:Automata recently received multiple new trailers, a January 2023 broadcast window, and information from the staff, including Yoko Taro.

Additionally, Square Enix shared an official game stated as being made by Pascal and clearing it gives you the following key visual. You control a robot with the mouse, and you must get to the goal. Deer and debris will spawn; if you hit them thrice, it’s game over.
