IGN has shared the extended version of the Lost Judgment story trailer initially revealed during the gamescom live presentation. This lengthy 7-minute trailer grants players a deep-dive into the grim tone the title’s narrative houses, as well as the numerous quandaries and life-or-death struggles Yagami must overcome to reach the truth regarding the case he has taken.
While the trailer may show off too much footage for those wanting to experience the story as blind as possible, it definitely amps up the hype considerably. In addition, the English dub is certainly sounding as, if not more qualitative than the first title’s outing.
You can view the extended story trailer for Lost Judgment below:
Lost Judgment is a sequel to Judgment, continuing the story of the ex-lawyer, now detective Takayuki Yagami. As was the case of the previous game, it’ll continue offering action combats as the series is supposed to carry the torch of the old Yakuza gameplay. In contrast, the Yakuza franchise will continue as a turn-based RPG moving forward. Besides the Crane and Tiger styles, a new counter-focused Snake style will be included.
Lost Judgment will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 24, 2021.
