Following the announcement by Dragami Games and Nada Holdings that new Lollipop Chainsaw projects are in the works, Dragami Games has confirmed that a brand-new game and anime are on the way.
Plus, a new Twitter account for the IP, titled Lollipop Chainsaw New Project, has been launched. Its description reads, “The pop and cute Juliet returns in this over-the-top zombie action game packed with dark humor!
Nada Holdings shared the following statement on the upcoming game:
Under the strong partnership between NADA HOLDINGS and Dragami Games, development is already underway on a brand-new LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW title that both preserves and builds upon the appeal of the original. With a firm commitment to honoring the spirit of the original work, the development team includes key staff members who were involved in the previous title. The new project is also being developed with close attention to fan feedback.
As with the original, the new title aims to recreate a world rich in dark humor. The development process will prioritize staying true to the distinctive tone and spirit of the original work, without imposing excessive creative restrictions in the name of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP follows Juliet Starling, a high school cheerleader who is also a zombie hunter. On her 18th birthday, Juliet’s school is suddenly overrun by a zombie outbreak caused by a ritual. Juliet battles through hordes of zombies with a chainsaw and quick wit to save her classmates and the world.
Her journey is complicated by her boyfriend, Nick, who is decapitated early on but is revived and becomes a disembodied head attached to her waist. Together, they fight to uncover the forces behind the zombie outbreak.
