Sega has announced that they have begun hiring staff for the new Jet Set Radio project that was formally announced during The Game Awards 2023.
While development for this new game has already started, the incoming, newly hired staff members will play significant roles in the title’s eventual full actualization. Some of the roles include programmers and a senior planner.

Moreover, a developer video interview featuring producer Masayoshi Kikuchi and concept designer Ryuta Ueda was posted. The duo emphasizes the need for unique perspectives and the right attitude and approach for the job.
Jet Set Radio is a street action game initially released in 2000 for the Dreamcast home video game console. Riding inline skates through the fictional Tokyo, the player fills the streets with graffiti. The unique graphics and original gameplay, which are still new to this day, remain the talk of the town.
