New Guilty Gear Strive Update Schedule Revealed; Global Crossplay Test September 2022, Balance Patch Winter 2022 & More

Players can look forward to a new character launching at some point in the remaining meager duration of Summer, alongside an alternate color variation. Further, the PlayStation 5 version of the title is being worked on to reduce input delay, hopefully to the same level currently present on PlayStation 4 Pro. Server connection time on Steam is also being reduced.
During mid-September, a Crossplay Beta Test will be held between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam users, with more information to be announced soon. Crossplay should also be fully implemented during Fall 2022, alongside a new character.
Winter 2022 will see the arrival of a new Battle Balance patch, with details not yet provided.
Lastly, two new characters and stages will be arriving in 2023, though, once again, no details have been provided.
