New Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Trailer Showcases Iki Island Content; New Antagonist, Story and Setting
The official PlayStation Youtube channel has uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This trailer centers around Iki Island, one of the major pieces of added content making its way into this package.
Jin discovers that a Mongol tribe has made their way onto this island, led by a shaman called Ankhsar Khatun, alternatively known as “the Eagle” to his followers. She presents a unique danger to Jin and others as her treachery goes beyond simply being a conqueror of lands. The grim past of the Sakai clan lies in the depths of Iki Island as well, holding a myriad of truths that Jin must confront.
The setting of Iki Island is dramatically different from the rest of the game’s regions due to Samurais not having been in control there for years. Jin will need to cooperate with several unscrupulous individuals to eventually rid the island of Mongol influence and control.
