New Ever Crisis Trailer Revealed During Final Fantasy VII 25-Year Anniversary Live Stream; 2 New Protagonists

During Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII 25-year anniversary live stream, the developer revealed a relatively brief trailer for the upcoming, highly anticipated Ever Crisis, the mobile entry including the entirety of the Final Fantasy VII compilation. Two new protagonists were showcased and revealed as members of the “third testing group.” More information on this game and future Final Fantasy VII-related projects were confirmed to be announced throughout the rest of the year.

The new trailer is accessible via the timestamped archive stream link below. However, it is worth noting that it is currently only available in Japanese.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is a battle royale that takes place in several locations around Midgar. Players are tasked with being the last member of SOLDIER standing and will have a host of abilities to keep them in the fight long enough.

There are several classes to choose from, including Warrior, Sorcerer, or Mong, each with different abilities and skills that prove helpful during tense situations. Players will also need to fight against monsters around the city to gain the necessary experience to level up and unlock new weapons.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier also features classic gameplay elements such as ridable Chocobos, espers, and even summon Materia, including Ifrit. Customization options allow players to alter their characters’ outfits and accessories to stand out on the battlefield. Further, there will be ways to obtain weapons and vehicle skins.
