New Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Game Announced

During the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023, Bandai Namco announced a brand-new Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi video game. For those potentially confused by the official Japanese sources, Japan calls the series Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is quite the beloved sub-series for the IP, spanning four titles, including three mainline ones and the Tag Team PSP entry. This particular set of games has been dormant for well over a decade, with the last new title released in 2010. Unfortunately, there is little to no information on this now elusive title. However, Bandai Namco stated during their Games Battle Hour broadcast that it is in the early stages of development. There is no estimated release window or planned platforms, either.
