New Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Revealed on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X

CD Projekt Red have uploaded a new gameplay video of Cyberpunk 2077, showcasing noteworthy aspects of the game on the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X.

You can take a look at the new gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 below.

This trailer also showcases the backwards compatibility features of the Xbox Series X while showing off more of Night City which players can begin exploring at their leisure come December.

A similar gameplay video to this recently released one is planned for PlayStation on the game’s official channels, though the current date of release for this upcoming video remains unknown.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled for a December 10 release for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 consoles. At a later date, a free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of next generation hardware, will become available for owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions respectively.

The title previously had a release date of November 19, but was later delayed to December 10 in order to better improve its quality across the myriad of platforms it’s planned to release on.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the future and is played in the first person, where players can explore the world and take on missions, seemingly creating their own story in this new world. The game will feature multiple, upgradable skills and abilities and the possibility of upgrading individual character classes. This is a huge game for the developer as a follow-up to the wildly popular 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020.
