New Amnesia: Rebirth Trailer Showcases Various Environments and Story Narration

A brand new trailer for the upcoming psychological horror title, Amnesia: Rebirth, has been released from developer Frictional Games.

This trailer features narration from key character Salim, one of the surviving members of the plane known as the Cassandra. Several environments are shown off such as dingy caves and dungeons as well as an open expanse of mountains and forestry. With desolation and despair being obvious components of a title of this nature, another central theme is how it will aim to explore the depths of human resilience. This ambitious title aims to recapture and build upon the magic of what made the cult classic, Amnesia: The Dark Descent work so well, while also including a deeper, more meticulous narrative.

Developer Frictional Games is also known for their work on the Penumbra series, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and SOMA. They have also published Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

Amnesia: Rebirth is releasing on October 20 for Playstation 4, Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, pre-orders are currently available on all of those digital storefronts. The title is ordinarily $29.99 on Steam, but it currently has a special pre-order 10% discount, making it priced at $26.99 instead.
