A Plague Tale: Requiem Gets New Story Trailer to Prepare Us for October Launch
Focus Entertainment released a story overview trailer for the Asobo Studios-developed A Plague Tale Requiem, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 18, 2022.
The trailer highlights the stakes that these characters will have to overcome on this new mission. Hugo is in danger of death after his ability is deemed too powerful. However, we’re not just going to let some strange man take him away. We get to see a little more of the brutal reality of this world and the environments that these two must parse through in order to survive.
A Plague Tale Requiem follows Amicia and Hugo who are traveling to a new region in the south in an attempt to start a new life and learn more about Hugo’s curse. However, his powers may be tied to death and destruction as a flood of rats follow them. The siblings must run again, but this time they will put up a fight. Players can stealthily navigate areas and take down enemies using a variety of weapons. Further, Hugo’s powers can be used to avoid encounters and get through areas unharmed.
