Neverwinter: Infernal Descent Launches on PS4 and Xbox One

Perfect World launched the Cryptic Studios developed Neverwinter: Infernal Descent on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, following the release of the PC version, which launched earlier this year.

Neverwinter: Infernal Descent is the first campaign in Neverwinter for level 80 characters. The update also has a new endgame dungeon and adventure zone set on Vallenhas Estate, which is chained to limbo. Players follow the tragic story of the Vallenhas family stronghold which brings a new series of adventures.

The update features Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus Storyline, which takes players through a new campaign as Vallenhas Manor has been ripped from Faerûn and pulled into Avernus, the first layer of the Nine Hells. In addition, players can play through Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus Campaign, which is the new challenging endgame for high-level characters.

The update also includes new characters including Paladin Alric Vallenhas, a once righteous paladin who wishes to redeem himself, and Bard Etrien Sael, a protector of innocents who’s loyal to the Vallenhas family.

Neverwinter is a free-to-play action MMORPG where players will explore dungeons and an open-world. The game features many areas and quest set in the Forgotten Realms, which includes Wizards of the Coast’s latest Dungeons & Dragons tabletop adventure, Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus.
