Idea Factory International launched a new trailer for Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars coming to Nintendo Switch (physically and digitally) on April 19, 2021. The publisher also confirmed that the game will release on PC-via Steam on May 11, 2022.
The trailer highlights the Switch version of the game, which doesn’t seem to be too graphically different from the PS4 version. However, since this is an action game, we can anticipate that some visual downgrades had to be made for this port.
The PC release will hopefully contain updated graphical options that take advantage of more powerful hardware.
The Switch and PC version of the game will include a brand-new difficulty setting and a free alternate costume DLC for all characters.
Initially titled Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen in Japan, the game features characters from across both series through an action RPG narrative. The game is a hack and slash adventure where players assume the role of either the goddesses or Ninja students to fight against waves and enemies and bosses.
The story revolves around the national struggle of Daimyo of each country. This begins the Super Ninja War, which is probably more exposition than we needed to get these two franchises together.
