Neptunia Series Will See “Further Evolution” In 2023
Of the numerous year-end developer comments shared via Famitsu, a director for several games in the series, Hikaru Yasui, stated that 2023 will mark a time of “further evolution” for the Neptunia series. While immensely vague on its own, there’s a likely chance this relates to the recent Famitsu issue news.
For those unaware, Famitsu revealed that a significant Compile Heart announcement will be shared in one of their January 2023 issues. The IP related to this news has not been confirmed, but when considering Yasui’s comment, it’s fairly likely a brand-new Neptunia game will be shown.
The upcoming Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters was already released in Japan in late 2022, so future console projects in the franchise are up in the air. We’ll be sure to keep you updated.
