Neptunia Senran Kagura Ninja Wars Comes West Next Month to PS4 With Limited Edition Available
Idea Factory International announced that Neptunia Senran Kagura Ninja Wars will launch on PlayStation 4 on October 26 in North America and October 29 in Europe.
Further, the publisher revealed a Limited Edition available for fans to pre-order beginning on September 28 via the IFI Online Store. The limited-edition comes with:
- PS4 Game (with reversible cover)
- Collector’s Box
- The Art of Ninjutsu Hardcover Art Book
- Ukiyo-e Wall Scroll
- Steel Game Case
- Official Soundtrack
- Exclusive Trading Card
Initially titled Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen in Japan, the game features characters from across both series through an action RPG narrative. The game is a hack and slash adventure where players assume the role of either the goddesses or Ninja students to fight against waves and enemies and bosses.
The story revolves around the national struggle of Daimyo of each country. This begins the Super Ninja War, which is probably more exposition than we needed to get these two franchises together.
The two series have been known for their various fanservice characters. While they have both become more subdued in recent years, they improved the popularity of costume breaks, anime waifus in games, and various other JRPG features.
