Neptunia Senran Kagura Ninja Wars Introduces Yuuki and Some Lewd Motion Controls

Compile Heart released a new trailer for their crossover game between the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Senran Kagura called Neptunia Senran Kagura Ninja Wars, set to come to PlayStation 4 in 2021.

The trailer introduces a new ninja character Yuuki, which the voice actress walks us through.

Hello, everyone! I’m Miku Ito, the voice actress for Yuuki.

What are your personal thoughts on acting as Yuuki?

Since my character (Yuuki) is a ninja that protects a princess. At first glance, she might just be a pinkhead with cat ears and a tail, I thought she was just girly at first, but as I kept on acting as her, I’ve found her to be more of a reliable type. As she’s well-versed in the arts of ninjutsu, she can deal her attacks rather quickly.

She’s rather honest and doesn’t slack off when it comes to protecting the princess with her life.

Please write a kanji character that best describes your role.

Whenever I think of Yuuki, she has this…”peachy”, like “peachy color”, feeling, y’know. Of course, there are many others I could write, but this is the one that stood out the most to me.

[Translator’s note: The next question refers to a mechanic in the game. I can’t quite name it, but from the footage, it’s a balance minigame where you tilt the controller and attempt to maintain your balance. I could not understand much of it, but it isn’t that important, I think…]

I’ve never voice acted for a game of this genre, so seeing everyone’s support to all the characters that appear is really great. I hope you guys enjoy this action-packed game when it releases!

Further, the trailer highlights some motion controls where players will need to train their character by balancing on a slime. The result is exceptionally lewd from what you could have guessed, but it fits with the theme of these two games.

I’m sure many were wondering if these lewd mini-games would even be included, but I guess the team has a few surprises in store.

Initially titled Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen in Japan, the game features characters from across both series through an action RPG narrative. The game is a hack and slash adventure where players assume the role of either the goddesses or Ninja students to fight against waves and enemies and bosses.
