Could Neptune From Neptunia Series Find Herself as a Character in BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle

With Arc System Works recent release of their 2d collaboration fighter BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle, fans have been wondering which other characters would make their way into the title as future DLC.

During a running series hosted by Arc System Works, the team asks series producer questions from the studio’s official Twitter account. Although most of the questions are comical, some shed some light the possible future of the game.

One question from Twitter user Incogroyen asks, “Will Neptune from the Neptunia series be added to BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle?” with an additional question asking about the inclusion of Celica Ayatsuki Mercury, who is a character in the BlazeBlue franchise.

Celica was the easy answer from the produce saying, “Celica, yes we can.” However, when it came to Neptune the producer stated, “I’ll get in trouble if I say too much.”

This could mean that every weeb’s favorite main protagonist, Neptune, could be making an appearance in the fast action fighter. On the other hand, it could also mean that the studio tried, but instances prevented the collaboration from happening.

Whatever the case may be, Neptune is a capable fighter who could hold her own during a match up.

BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle  is out now for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Author’s take: This was a very interesting video to watch and I found it to be a nice look at a developer’s work space. The questions could have been better, but I enjoyed watching the interview and I’d like to see more.
