Neon White Launching for PS4 & PS5 Later This Month; Adaptive Triggers & Haptic Feedback

Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Angel Matrix have announced that their first-person action title, Neon White, will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on December 13, 2022.

For the latter platform, adaptive triggers are utilized to make each Soul Card unique, with Controller Haptics providing greater feedback. 120hz and gro functionality will also be implemented.

Neon White 2

Neon White is a fast-paced first-person action game where players must exterminate demons who have made their way to Heaven. Players assume the role of White, an assassin who has been picked from Hell to compete with demon slayers for a chance to live in Heaven. The other assassins seem familiar, though, so maybe there’s a connection there.

The developer highlights how this is a game made for freaks and is made up of tight levels that are meant to be replayed. Players can utilize various means of traversal and receive some insight that can improve their speedrun.

Medals received after courses unlock new stages and collectibles. Players will also be able to interact with characters and give them gifts found in the stages. It’s not a dating sim, but there are memories discovered and optional dungeons.

Neon White is now available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, with full Steam verification.
