NEO: The World Ends with You Gets a July Release Date, New Trailer and a Confirmed PC Version
Square Enix has recently revealed a huge slew of new information regarding NEO: The World Ends with You, the sequel to the original The World Ends with You. Firstly, the developer and publisher revealed a brand new trailer for the title, which featured new characters, their voice actors/actresses, combat intricacies, and more. There is an English version of the trailer showcasing the English dub voices as well.
In NEO: The World Ends with You, players follow the protagonist Rindo. He explores Tokyo while trying to uncover the mysteries behind the ever so elusive “Reaper’s Game,” a life or death battle for survival he was forced to take part in. This title boasts fast-paced action combat, a soundtrack composed by Takeharu Ishimoto, and an engaging narrative. Players can enjoy the bustling city’s sights and culture, fights monsters alongside their allies, take missions a part of the “Reaper’s Game,” and ultimately alter the fate they’ve been handed.
NEO: The World Ends with You is releasing on July 27, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Games Store this Summer, though the PC release date does is not the same as the consoles’ one.
Pre-orders for both the physical and digital standard editions of the title on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are now available on Square Enix’s official website.
There is also a merchandise set priced at $89.99, including a pin badge set, a Mr. Mew hanging pouch, and a record bag. This package does not include the game proper, however, and it is sold completely separately.
