Catgirl Manga ‘Nekopara ~Chocola and Vanilla~’ Launches in the West
Sekai Project has launched the catgirl romance manga Nekopara ~Chocola and Vanilla~ digitally in the west.
The manga features a heartfelt comedy featuring the series’ leads Chocola and Vanilla. Readers will be able to spend more time with the two through some comedic moments that extend past the visual novel series. This title has been adapted by Tam-U to tell an original story by Neko Works.
The series currently has three visual novel volumes, a prequel, and an “Extra” volume available that tell stand-alone stories surrounding a cafe owner who took in two stray catgirls, Chocola and Vanilla, and possibly ends up hooking up with them. Oh, who are we kidding, you know he hooks up with them.
Each volume introduces new characters and situations that are kept comedic and light-hearted with added bits of emotional romance that you’d expect. The series has sold over 3 million copies, which means there’s probably a group of fans hungry for more of these cute catgirls.
The publisher has also confirmed that Nekopara ~Chocola and Vanilla~ will be available on Amazon soon. Currently, a variety of Manga titles with the Nekopara series are available on Amazon.
