Otome Visual Novel ‘Nekopara: Catboys Paradise’ Gets Steam Page for Summer Release
Sekai Project launched the Steam page for the Neko Works-developed otome visual novel Nekopara: Catboys Paradise. The page lists a Summer 2021 release, but there was a slight error when sharing the page that reveals an unofficial July 16, 2021 release. UPDATE: The official release has been set for July 15, 2021.
Nekopara: Catboys Paradise has players take ownership over a cafe after their grandfather’s passing. The goal here is to bring honor to the grandfather and make sure the cafe stays open. It’s not totally uncommon in this world for humanoid cat hunks to appear and help out. However, running a cafe is a tough business, and that’s when four cats appear who will help out until the very end.
Nekopara: Catboys Paradise will feature four different characters who can be romanced during the game. Each character has their own unique cat-pursonality and will most likely have us fighting over who is best boy. It’s not known whether this will be an actual series or not, but hey, I’m not complaining about comedic romance visual novels.
The game was once an April Fools joke that became a real game. The publisher also shared new English screenshots. We’ll keep you updated on the release of Nekopara: Catboys Paradise in the west.
