Neko Navy Makes its Way West on Nintendo Switch
Fruitbat Factory announced that it will be bringing an updated version of DeathMofuMofu’s shooter, Keko Navy Day Dream Edition to the west on Nintendo Switch.
Aside from the traditional sidescrolling shoot ‘em up, Keko Navy has players controlling flying cats fighting “10,000 soothing characters” in hand-drawn visuals.
The previously Japanese exclusive will feature a new mode called Infinity which gives you one life yet endless gameplay. The game also has 6 playable cats, 7 arcade levels, supports four languages, updated difficulty settings including Death mode.
In Keko Navy Day Dream Edition, players will fly through the sky as a cat in true shmup fashion. Players will be able to shoot down hordes of enemies as they weave through bullets, pick up power-ups and fight bosses across multiple levels.
Neko Navy Day Dream Edition will be available on Nintendo’s eShop on January 10th for $12.99 USD.

Author’s take: Do I really need to have a take on this? I mean, it’s cute hand-drawn cats flying about shooting everything! The only thing missing is that it’s not already on my Switch.
