Needy Streamer Overload Reveals New Content Trailer
Developer WSS Playground has shared a new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch release of their psychological horror visual novel, Needy Streamer Overload, highlighting unspecified new content that seems to primarily be new scenarios. Based on the trailer’s phrasing, it seems this new content will also be arriving at the game’s already released Steam version.
Additionally, the trailer also confirms that the visual novel has sold over 550,000 units worldwide.
The video highlighting these aforementioned aspects is viewable below:
Needy Streamer Overload has players assume the role of P-chan, acting as both lover and producer for online streaming idol Ame-chan. Ame-chan happens to be a hot mess and begs for your approval to the point where she’ll take your advice to advance her online idol career. Unfortunately, she’s cute, selfish, and a little bit messed up… and it’s up to you to turn her into a top-tier streamer.
Gameplay has players take on the task of fostering a young girl with an unhealthy need for attention from you. If that wasn’t bad enough, she is also obsessed with the internet. Players will get to know Ame-chan and her alter-ego OMGkawaiiAngel-chan, who she becomes while streaming.
You’ll need to guide her to get more followers and comments until she becomes the most popular girl online. Of course, this all takes place over a computer screen and through chat; it’s also really unhealthy in real life, but this is a video game, so it’s cool, and we aren’t judging.
- The title is now available on PC via Steam, which has sold over 450,000 units worldwide.
