Need for Speed Heat Releases Trailer Ahead of Launch Using Community Designs

EA has released a new trailer for the Ghost Games developed racer Need for Speed Heat, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 8.

The trailer has been released as a launch trailer for the game and includes some participation from the community. Fans who downloaded Need for Speed Heat Studio produces over 2 million unique custom cars and spend an average of 24 minutes in the application. The developer ran a Showcase contest where five fans won the opportunity for their creation to be featured in the game’s launch trailer and that’s what happened.

Need for Speed Heat has players travel around Palm City, an open world where street racers have gathered to compete and make a name for themselves. During the day, players can compete in eh Speedhunters Showdown, a sanctioned competition where they earn money to customize and upgrade their cars. While at night, players can risk it all for reputation by competing in high-level street races. The game is meant to be a return to what fans love about the long-running series. The game will include a roster of over 120 cars, including hybrid-electric performance cars. Need for Speed Heat Studio can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
