Route 59 Games released a new trailer for their cinematic visual novel title Necrobarista, which also reveals that the game will release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in early 2019.
The trailer gives players a look at the game’s cel-shaded visuals, which includes environments and characters. The game’s story featuring dozens of intersecting stories told between the game’s cast. Players will be able to freely roam the terminal in the first-person to interact with objects and other characters.
Necrobarista’s soundtrack is being worked on by Kevin Penkin, composer for Under the Dog and Norn9. However, the song that plays in the trailer is Nothing by Soft Science.
Necrobarista added that a free demo will be available ahead of the game’s launch for players to get early hands-on with the indie title. Furthermore, the title will support English, Chinese, and Japanese subtitles at launch.

Author’s take: I urge everyone to take the time to watch this trailer! I’m left with wanting to know so much about these characters and their situation. It’s brilliant how this small indie team has produced such a stylish visual which have me wanting more. I’ll definitely be following this game as well as this studio from now on.
