Necrobarista: Final Pour Launches on Switch as Director’s Cut Release

Playism and Route 59 Games announced that their cel-shaded visual novel Necrobarista will launch as a timed Nintendo Switch exclusive as Necrobarista: Final Pour later today.

This version of the game features a diorama tool where players can pose characters and stages scenes using the in-game engine. Further, players will find new story content and updated visuals as this release is dubbed a director’s cut release.

Necrobarista is a visual novel that takes the genre to the world of 3D and has players experience the story through the cinematic narrative with branching scenarios and depth. Players will also be able to explore the cafe and investigate its environments as they speak with customers and learn about their unfinished business.

The camera of the game will shift between several characters’ perspectives as players get to understand this world and the story it’s trying to tell. The idea is to have a free-roaming experience that tells a compelling story that adventure fans will feel comfortable with.
