During Anime Expo 2023, Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Naruto compilation title, Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. The game’s new original Boruto story mode was discussed with a new trailer.
Nanashi is a new character known from the popular in-universe online game “Ninja Heroes.” Another new character is Merz, who’s leading a group planning to initiate the Fifth Great Ninja War.
Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will feature an original story alongside the narratives of every Ultimate Ninja Storm title. Further, players can use the new characters Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki during gameplay. For those playing on next-gen consoles, you’ll be able to play at 60 FPS; we’re assuming this is for PC as well. This story combines key gameplay moments from the series that highlight select scenes from across Naruto and Sasuke’s deeply emotional story arcs and features the largest roster of any Naruto game to date.
