In a new statement to IGN, Bandai Namco has said that they are working on fixing the voice-over issues in Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
Regarding the low quality of some voiced deliveries in the game, the company has confirmed that they are not AI-generated and are instead “the result of inconsistencies during the editing and mastering process.” A patch is in the works to address the affected dialogue.

“Regarding the reports about several voice over lines in Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, Bandai Namco Entertainment can confirm that the lines in question were not AI generated, but the result of inconsistencies during the editing and mastering process.
We regret that this raised a concern with Naruto fans and the voice acting community. We are currently working to fix the voice lines in question, which will be patched in the near future.”
This release features ten new playable characters, a simple control style for beginners, cosmetic customization, online battling, and several battle techniques. Further, there is an encyclopedia compiling various franchise information, a history mode to refresh fans’ memories, and a brand-new story mode.
Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will feature an original story alongside the narratives of previous Ultimate Ninja Storm titles. Further, players can use the new characters Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki during gameplay. For those playing on next-gen consoles, you’ll be able to play at 60 FPS.
This story combines key gameplay moments from the series that highlight select scenes from across Naruto and Sasuke’s deeply emotional story arcs and features the largest roster of any Naruto game to date.
Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
