Lovecraftian Tactical RPG ‘Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace’ Available for Discounted Pre-Order on Steam, Xbox One and Switch

Publisher Asmodee has announced that their upcoming narrative-driven tactical RPG, Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace, is currently available for pre-order on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The title is also 20% off for pre-order on those 3 platforms for $15.99 / 15,99 €.

This title takes place in the year 1926 where an astronomy professor is found dead in her mansion. With her being the victim of murder, players must choose between 12 of the most iconic protagonists from the Arkham Horror universe. A team of investigators must be forced to figure out the conundrums behind this murder. Each of these protagonists boasts a unique skill set as well.

Investigators will face a variety of Lovecraftian-inspired horrors, which will affect their level of sanity, ultimately causing traumas that will impact the course of their investigation. Aside from the horror elements of living nightmares and a sinister cult, players must overcome enemies in strategical, turn-based combat whilst retaining sanity.

Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is releasing on March 23, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, on both Steam and Windows 10. The PlayStation 4 version is not available for pre-order.
