JSL Entertainment announced that their action-adventure game Fate Seeker Ⅱ will launch on PlayStation 5 on July 4, 2024. The game was initially launched on PC via Steam in 2021, but this will be the first time Western fans can play the English-localized version.
Fate Seeker II invites players to step into the shoes of Zhuge Yu, an unruly teen on a quest for justice and truth. After learning about his parents’ demise at the hands of corrupt officials, Zhuge Yu vows to bring those responsible to justice and eradicate corruption. As players navigate this narrative-driven adventure, they will engage in character development, reasoning, and exploration, solving complex cases to uncover the truth and bring down the mastermind behind the scenes.
The game features a blend of real-time combat and strategic planning, utilizing the Eight Trigrams points and mix-match configuration to create a unique and personalized playstyle. The open, seamless map is richly detailed, with vivid 2D dynamic illustrations that bring the Kung Fu universe to life. I’m looking forward to this: a friend said the first game was fun, and this sequel seems to improve on the formula in many ways. The gameworld is cool.
