During today’s Nintendo Indie World showcase, the story-rich single-player experience Wayward Strand was announced for Nintendo Switch by developer and publisher Ghost Pattern. Throughout this atmospheric title taking place in 1978, players control teenage journalist Casey Beaumaris as she investigates an airship that functions as a hospital, meeting various intriguing characters and learning about the unique lives they lead. Even though she vastly prefers alone time with books over human interaction, she believes chronicling this experience will be a qualitative addition to her school newspaper.
Replays are an integral facet of the title, with time passing for everyone and multiple playthroughs being required to see all of what this game has to offer.
Wayward Strand is releasing for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 21, 2022.
