Here Are Some Details on Narcos: Rise of the Cartels Before Launch

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels launches on November 19 for PlayStation 4 and PC, on November 21 for Nintendo Switch, and on November 22 for Xbox One.

The game is based on the popular Netflix series “Narcos,” allowing players to relive events of the first season as Medellin Cartel or the DEA. Curve Digital’s most recent and ambitious game aims to provide a fantastic adaptation of the 1980’s Colombia, aligning the intense wave of drug traffic with the constant fight to stop it.

Gameplay focuses on a strategic single-player campaign, which will please XCOM fans. Each map offers different challenges across the notorious violent town of Medellin. Players will need to control their team and keep an eye on units, as leaving someone behind means a breach on the front lines. “Strategy with a twist” is what defines the work developed by Kuju (who produced Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, Guitar Hero Live), allowing players to get an up and close view on the action.

Will El Patrón’s empire rise or fall? Be the judge in Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, with characters such as El Mexicano, Murphy, Peel, Primo, and more. Each with their ability, skill, and advantage.
